Hop On, Hop Off: The Best Way to See New Delhi

If you only have two days to spare in New Delhi, then the best way to explore this vibrant (and contrasting) city is to get in the City’s Hop On, Hop Off (HoHo) Tourist Bus.  It is not only economical (just 300 INR per person good for TWO days of unlimited travel), but you also save on a tourist guide (a.k.a. “Guest Relations Executive”) since there is one on board who can answer any of your queries about New Delhi.

The HoHo bus takes you to 19 popular destinations in New Delhi - enough for two days of touring the city.  You can buy the tickets on-line, or better yet, like what we did, we bought our tickets on-board.  Since our hotel was near the Red Fort, this is where we began our tour.

Our next stop was the Gate of India.

Next stop was Humayun’s Temple.

Next stop was Lotus Temple.

A brief stop at the Qutab Minar.

Our final stop was at the Safdarjung Tomb.
